Work With Me: Terms & Conditions

One Messy Mama is all about the real and the raw—the messy, beautiful, sometimes chaotic rhythm of family life. I’m always happy to collaborate with brands and organisations that truly connect with my readers and fit naturally into the spaces of parenting, family lifestyle, and family travel.

If you’re looking to work with me, here are the ways we can partner (plus a few ground rules to keep things simple and clear for both of us).

Ways We Can Work Together

Sponsored Posts

  • A sponsored post is written by me in my own voice, with your brand’s guidelines in mind.
  • These can be product or experience reviews, or themed posts that highlight your niche in an authentic way.
  • Each sponsored post includes one client-provided link. Additional links can absolutely be added, but they’ll come with a small extra fee.

Guest Posts

  • Guest posts are written and supplied by you (or your team).
  • They must fit within my niche—parenting, family lifestyle, and family travel.
  • Just so we’re clear, I do not accept content or links related to adult sites, CBD, essay writing, or casinos.
  • Full terms for guest posts are below.

Resource Updates

  • Want me to update one of my existing posts with a fresh link to your resource? I can absolutely do that for a small admin fee.

The Nitty-Gritty (aka Terms & Conditions)

I like to keep things transparent and easy, so here’s what you can expect when we work together:

  1. All guest post content will need my approval before publishing.
  2. Guest posts must be at least 600/750 words long.
  3. I reserve the right to edit content for clarity, tone, or grammar so it flows naturally on my site.
  4. Guest posts will always carry a disclaimer: “This is a contributed post.”
  5. You can include up to two links per guest post, both going to the same domain. Extra links will mean an extra fee.
  6. Social sharing of guest posts isn’t automatic. If you’d like that, we can agree on it in advance (with an additional fee if needed).
  7. Payment is due within 7 days of the post going live.
  8. A 7% PayPal processing fee is added to invoices.
  9. I’ll need your PayPal email address to send the invoice.
  10. Late payments will be charged a 30% late fee every 7 days. If payment is delayed, I also reserve the right to remove the post (though payment is still required).
  11. If you request changes after a post has been approved and published, there’s a $10 update fee.
  12. Requests to remove links or delete posts after publication still require full payment.
  13. Posts will usually be published within 3 working days of receiving content, unless we’ve agreed otherwise.

✨ If all of that sounds good, and you’d love to team up, I’d be thrilled to hear from you. Pop me a message through my contact page, and while you are here why not visit my In The Media page. Let’s create something meaningful (and a little messy—in the best way) together.
