    Will My Children Always Talk to Me?

    I’ve been pondering this question for a while now. I suspect that, as my kids get older, they might not always want to tell me what’s on their hearts. Even now, while they are still very young, the news they share about their day at school or time they spent playing with friends are becoming more vague. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m nagging, and that bugs them; or maybe it’s just an age thing and part of them growing up and becoming more independent, and this means they share a little less.     Now that our children are older, we try to have our meals seated at the table. We don’t always get it right because our lives are so busy and sometimes our schedules won’t allow it, but we do our best.
