Nicole From Tales From Mamaville

Writer. Journalist. Blogger. First-time mum. Chronicling my experiences and unarticulated thoughts about motherhood and toddlerhood in this blog.

I fancy the absurd, the unusual and the out-of-the-ordinary… as I pen my thoughts, I realise that motherhood is a little slice of each. So here I am, cracking the motherhood code, one day at a time…

and Michelle from The Muddled Mother

Hi, I’m Michelle aka The Muddled Mother. I live in a little village in North Bedfordshire, England with my husband, my two children and my cat. I have been pouring my heart and soul into this blog since September 2016 as not only has it helped me, I also want to raise awareness about postnatal depression, borderline personality disorder and anxiety. My blog heavily focuses on mental health, but also includes my family life, children and is a place for honest reviews on products for every family.

This weeks Co-Hosts are

Tracey from Oh Pretty City

I am Tracey, 37 years young, mum of four, Early Years Educator and University student. I decided to have a rethink and focus on what it is I am passionate about. As a mum of four I could write about mummy things but my kids are teenagers and are adverse to me ranting about them online. As a photography degree student I would say I do like to take a picture or two and have learnt so much in my first year alone so I want to share some of that with you.

As a London resident it is easy to go forget just how much is going on. Every borough is like a little city in its own right. Through Oh Pretty City I aim to explore and seek out what is on show, on offer and what there is to do in the pretty city of London.

Katarzyna from Oh Mummy Mia

I’m 29 year old crazy mummy and lovely wife 🙂 Together with my boys we live in Spalding little town in Lincolnshire in UK.  The most important person in the house is Little Prince second place Mr I know everything (known as a husband) and on the end (not so bad 3rd place brown medal:D) me-Ohmummymia aka Mummie :).

I want to write about family life, new mum problems. You will find here posts about traveling with baby. Also I want to introduce you my favourites products, everything what (in my own opinion) mums should have. I hope that you will be involved in that blog and once a week I would like to present your stories, anecdotes etc.

This weeks Featured Posts.

Michelle’s fav for the week is from My Petit Canard with Mummy Guilt Sucks.  I have always loved Emily’s blog and this post didn’t disappoint. I understand everything she says about the mummy guilt, which means many mums also do. X

Nicole’s fav for the week is from Leaning In with Time vs money: why working parents should outsource household chores. This post highlights a very important point that having it all doesn’t necessarily mean doing it all. It’s about priorities, and making it work for you and your family. A happy house is more important than a clean one, after all!

My fav for the week is from Beauty and the Mini Beasts with An imperfect Perfect. This is such a refreshing look at how we should raise our children. It is so important for them to know that life is so much more than what we see on someone else’s Social Media page. That it’s OK to just be who we are.
